Friends to the Fatherless is a new ministry that began in March 2007. This
small, new website is yet another step in helping to spread the word of the
orphans' need for Christ's love.
There are so many children out there who deeply yearn for a simple touch from
someone. We are hoping and praying that somehow we are able to touch a few
hearts and lives through this ministry in the countries of Rwanda, South Korea,
Russia, Ukraine, and the U.S. Foster Care System in Arapahoe County. (These
countries were selected due to the ties to Wellspring Church through adoptions,
church affiliation, or church location.)
We have hosted a Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner for Rwanda, hosted a baby shower
for South Korea, collected school supplies for foster children, and raised funds
through our collection of spare change in sippie cups for each of the above
countries.
We have also been blessed by traveling to Rwanda and South Korea to personally
serve some of these dear children.
