And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

This summer, God has invited Wellspring Church into a season of prayer, where we bring our burdens, our pain, or joy, and our thanksgivings to him. We had our first Evening Prayer Service on Wednesday, June 10th and about 50 people gathered together. We started with a potluck and had a wonderful opportunity to connect with one another and get to know more people within our community. Then we moved to the sanctuary, made a circle with chairs, and prayed for 45 minutes. All ages, including kids, prayed together. We brought to the Lord our petitions for Wellspring, for Englewood, and for one another. We laid hands of healing, we lifted up prayers of gratitude, and we drew closer to one another and to the Lord.

I invite you to join us tonight for our next Evening Prayer Service from 6:00-7:30pm at Wellspring. We will be lifting up the things we are thankful for and the pressing burdens on our hearts. All are welcome. We will not have childcare because we want families to pray together. Please bring an item to the potluck based on your last name:

A-H Side Dish

I-O Dessert

P-Z Main Dish

We hope to see you tonight!

Katie
