Our tradition includes the wearing of special clothing or vestments by various members of the church. Common vestments you will see at Wellspring include albs (white robes), stoles, and cinctures (belts). Stylistically, this clothing derives from that typically worn by household servants in first century Rome. The vestments visually represent being clothed in the righteousness of Christ as well as his call to service.
